Applicants for a grant from the above Foundation MUST BE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS and either :

1. have been born in the area comprised in the Community of Denbigh (i.e. former Borough of Denbigh)
2. Had a parent or parents resident in the said area at the time of his or her birth
3. at the date of the award of a scholarship have a parent or parents resident in the said area who has or have resided for an agregate period of not less than ten years

All applicants should complete the application form in full returning the completed form to the clerk NOT LATER THAN 30th SEPTEMBER

New applicants who were born in the Borough of Denbigh must send a full birth certificate.
(Please note that St. Asaph is not in the Community of Denbigh)

Applicants who qualify under (2) or (3) above must send documentary evidence of their qualification. In the case of section (2), this can be done by a birth certificate which gives the address of the parents at the time of the birth. (THE SHORT FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE AS THEY DO NOT QUOTE THE PARENT'S ADDRESS)

Those who qualify under section (3) must give full particulars with supporting evidence.

Please note that applicants who do not meet any of the above criteria should not apply as the Trustees have no discretion regarding the qualifying criteria.
