1. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
This notice describes how your personal information will be used and sets out how we will look after your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other national implementing laws regulations and secondary legislation as amended or updated from time to time in the UK

3. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may callect and process the information which you provide to us in the Foundation's Grant application form, namely :-
Your name address and telephone number
Your email address
The name of the university college you are attending and the Degree course you will taking
Particulars of your examination results since commencing university
The name of the secondary school you attended
Your GCSE results
Your A Level results
Details of any other grants or scholarships which you receive
The name and address of your parents /guardians
The occupation of your parents/guardians
The name and address of your parents'/guardians' employers
The total gross income of your parents/guardians in the year that the application is made
Your parents'/guardians' unearned income in the year in which the application is made
The amount of Child Benefit received by your parents/guardians
Your own private income
Details of any siblings dependent upon your parents
The name of your bank
The sort code, name and number of your bank account
4. WHY WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order to make a decision as to whether to award you a Grant from the Foundation, we are required to collect personal information from you as detailed in the Grant application form.
5.WHAT LEGAL BASIS DO WE HAVE FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Legal obligation - we are required by the terms of the Foundation to obtain and use your personal information in this way
6. WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH
Your personal data is never passed or shared with any third party without your express consent
7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will keep your personal information for up to six years after you have completed your university course or have permanently discontinued your university course, for the purposes of :-
(1) responding to any complaints, queries or claims
(2) to show that we treated you fairly
We may keep your personal information for longer than six years if we cannot delete it for legal/regulatory reasons
8. HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You can request a full copy of all the information we hold about you by writing to the Clerk,

9. HOW TO CORRECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you believe the information about you is incorrect you have the right to require it to be corrected. You can contact us by email or in writing and we will amend our records if any of the information is found to be incorrect.
10. HOW TO STOP US USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You have the right to object to our use of your personal information or to require that we delete remove or stop using your information if there is no need for us to keep it. This is known as the "right to object "and "right to erasure" or "the right to be forgotten"
We may need to hold your information for legal or regulatory reasons. You have the right to ask us to restrict the use of your personal information (other than complying with regulatory requests) You can ask us to restrict the use of your personal information if it is not accurate, but you do not want us to correct it, or if it has been used unlawfully but you do not want us to delete it, or it is no longer relevant, but you want us to keep it for legal or regulatory purposes, or you have asked us to stop using your information but you are waiting for us to tell you if we are allowed to continue to use it
