Helping Denbigh Students going to University
Small grants for young people from Denbigh starting their degree in the UK
Welcome
Hi there!
Are you from Denbigh and about to start a university degree in the UK? If so, the Robert David Hughes Scholarship Foundation might be able to give you a helping hand with some of your costs.
Our Story
A bit of history…
Robert David Hughes lived in Denbigh and, on his death in 1946, left a generous legacy to help local young scholars. This bequest led to the creation of the Robert David Hughes Scholarship Foundation, now a registered charitable trust managed by Trustees.
The Trust is permanent, meaning it can only distribute income for its charitable purposes. That way, young people from Denbigh will continue to benefit for generations to come.
